Its intimate, polished setting retains the effortless confidence that has defined it for generations.

Continue the aperitivo with traditional Venetian tapas (also known as cicchetti) at a historic, family-run property shaped by five generations of hospitality. Its cultural memory reaches back to an earlier bar within the property, once frequented by Simone de Beauvoir.
Cuisine: Venetian Pasta Course.
Settle in for an authentic Venetian pasta dish at an intimate osteria. In its enchanting garden, enjoy your meal beneath a canopy of vines and the warm glow of lanterns. Situated beside the celebrated Teatro La Fenice, where Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto and La traviata premiered, this setting offers a quieter expression of San Marco, just steps from one of Europe’s great opera houses.
Cuisine: Artisanal Italian Desserts.
Enjoy an artisanal Italian dessert, served to go, from an eighteenth-century café long known as a gathering place for musicians and writers. Richard Wagner was a daily patron from 1879 to 1883, often accompanied to the square by his gondolier Luigi before lingering in conversation with the proprietor. Its ornate interiors and enduring artisanal tradition preserve the cultured atmosphere of another era as the journey continues through Piazza San Marco.
Cuisine: Coffee in the Oldest Café in Italy.
Your choice of espresso, cappuccino, or tea is included in a leisurely seated finale inside one of Venice’s most ornate historic cafés. Across more than three centuries, its gilded rooms and painted mirrors have welcomed artists, thinkers, and celebrated patrons, including Giacomo Casanova, drawn in part by the café’s unusual welcome to women. Here, the flavors, stories, and atmospheres of the journey come together as yoour final stop on the tour.

Guide gratuity is not included — tipping is optional but appreciated if you enjoyed your tour; 15% to 25% of the tour price is customary, although the amount is entirely at your discretion.

Meet your guide outside the entrance gates at 4:25 PM for a prompt 4:30 PM departure. Please use the map link below, which marks the exact meeting point.
If you are arriving from Piazza San Marco, walk toward the waterfront. When you reach the water, turn right and continue for a short distance; the entrance to the Giardini Reali will be on your right.
When the gardens are open, admission is free, and you are welcome to arrive early to explore the grounds or relax beneath the wisteria-covered pergola.
Alternatively, illy Caffè is a short walk farther along Giardini Ex Reali. Please allow enough time to return to the garden entrance by 4:25 PM.
If the gates are closed, the meeting point remains unchanged: please wait outside the same entrance.

The tour concludes at approximately 7:30 PM in Piazza San Marco, just a short walk from the Giardini Reali meeting point. From here, you will be ideally placed to continue your evening in the heart of Venice.
